The driver was manually installed several times along with deleting the hardware, reinstalling and loading the driver over and over. After 3 exhausting chat support sessions with Linksys, they could not figure it out and threw the problem back in my lap saying it must be a problem with my Windows 7 64bit. The official Linksys drivers work poorly, and Linksys themselves are not very interested in fixing the issues with their own drivers. Also, for some reason, I had to rollback the drivers shortly after I installed these drivers. Have you tried the device in another computer just to be sure it really works?

Windows does not recognize any of the files in unzipped folder as driver type files. While this solution still makes absolutely no sense to me, it ended up being the only thing that worked. I found the drivers on my computer and uploaded disco again, this time to five new locations.

Microsoft Update installed drivers that would work for a few seconds, but then would disconnect repeatedly. Note, I had to disable the Windows Driver Singing feature to get these to install.
